Eligibility & Qualifications:$400 Business Checking Account Bonus: To receive the $400 promotional bonus, you must meet each of the following criteria:
• At account opening, which is either the date the account is opened or the next business day if opened on a non-business day, the business cannot have another SouthState business/commercial checking account, or have had a SouthState business/commercial checking account in the past 12 months.
• Within 90 calendar days of opening the account (“qualifying period”), you must have:
- 15 or more posted and cleared debit card purchases/payments from the account; OR
- Cumulative ACH credits of at least $5,000. (Note: Internal account transfers, mobile deposits, debit card deposits, instant payments and deposits made at a banking location or ATM do not qualify as an ACH Credit for purposes of this promotion.)
• Your account must be open with no changes to the product type (i.e. Small Business Checking, Business Gold Checking, Community Checking, Commercial Checking, etc.) at the time of payment.
Satisfying the $400 Business Checking Account Bonus requirements allows you to earn up to $600 in additional Promotional Bonuses (Balance, Treasury, and Merchant), subject to the following qualification requirements:• $200 Balance Bonus: If your current available balance is $50,000 or greater at the end of the qualifying period (which may be a non-business day), you will receive an additional $200 Bonus payment.
• $200 Treasury Bonus: If you are enrolled in eligible Treasury Services at the end of the qualifying period, you will receive an additional $200 Bonus payment. A Treasury Navigator Request and Agreement must be completed with a Treasury Services Management Officer. Additional costs and fees may apply.
• $200 Merchant Bonus: If you enroll in Merchant Services through SouthState Bank AND have cumulative Merchant settlement transaction(s) of $200 or more post to your SouthState commercial/business checking account within the qualifying period, you will receive an additional $200 Bonus payment. Additional costs and fees apply.
Promotional Rebate Payment:
If you meet the Eligibility and Qualifications above, the corresponding Bonus payment amount(s) will be credited to your account within 3 business days of the end of the qualifying period, up to a maximum of $1,000. Each Bonus payment will be reported to the appropriate taxing authorities, as required by law or regulation.
